Role Specifics

Expectations
Responsible for multiple customer visits daily. Visits are your opportunity to work one-on-one with our customers!
Customer visits will include:
Up-Selling: Offering our customers additional services and products that will propel them into the future of living in a Connected Home in a no-pressure manner
Site Surveys: Determining the best positioning of equipment for strongest signal reception
Installations: Installing cutting edge technology, including DISH satellite service, Hopper, Hughes and Viasat – Satellite Internet Service and Smart Home Services, such as Nest, Velop or Polk
Education: Teaching customers the basics on how to use and enjoy their new service and equipment
Skills
Enjoy working in an outdoor environment (we work in heat, cold, snow, rain, storms, and other types of inclement weather!).
Willingness to work one on one with customers to educate and sell products and services.
Experience in computer, electrical, maintenance/repair, general labor, cable, military, customer service and/or customer relationship experience is a plus!
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer skills, basic electronics and/or audio/video knowledge is helpful.
Have experience working with hand tools and power tools.
Either have experience safely maneuvering and climbing extension ladders, or ability and willingness to learn how.
Required Qualifications
Be available and willing to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
High school diploma or GED preferred, college or technical/vocational school is a plus.
Valid driver’s license that meets DISH’s minimum safety standard.
Ability to pass a background & drug screen.

Compensation
LinkUs offers competitive base compensation and additional earning opportunities, including performance bonuses and sales commission. As our Technicians progress in their role, through various skill based levels. The compensation benefits follow as well! *Compensation offerings will differ slightly by Region.
Starting Hourly Rate
Beginning day one, our technicians receive a base pay of $14 – $20 an hour. Initial hourly rate is dependent on experience. Experienced technicians may start at a higher rate.
Retention Rate
As technicians progress through their field training, they can start earning sales based bonuses on top of their hourly rate.
Production Hourly Rate
After technicians complete their training, they are eligible for production bonuses, sales commission, PTO and base pay increases.
